Insurance work rarely stays at a desk. Origami Risk supports field reporting and operations, and my contribution focused on making the mobile workflow dependable for the people using it in the middle of real work.

Origami Risk serves insurance, safety, claims, and risk-management teams that need dependable tools beyond the office. During a short 2023 engagement supporting its React Native conversion, I focused on the mobile product: practical workflow foundations, clearer team context, and the details that make an enterprise app work in the field.
The details below cover the React Native conversion, field workflows, and documentation that helped the team navigate the mobile product.
Enterprise mobile apps clear a different bar than consumer products. They have to handle dense workflows, structured data capture, and field use without slowing people down. Origami Risk stood out because it supports operational work where reliability matters more than novelty.
This was a concise engagement, so the work had to count in the right places: helping move the app into React Native, supporting the mobile workflow foundation, and keeping the experience practical for its day-to-day users.
Origami Risk reinforced a pattern I value in product work: the best mobile engineering often disappears into the background. When a complex insurance or risk process feels simple on a phone, the implementation has done its job.
